AHEPA Chapter 17 – Hephaestus, Vari – Voula – Vouliagmeni

Το απόγευμα της Τετάρτης 20 Ιανουαρίου 2016, πραγματοποιήθηκε στο παραλιακό ξενοδοχείο “OASIS Hotel & Apartments” της Γλυφάδας, η πρώτη μηνιαία συνάντηση των μελών του Τμήματος HJ – 17 Βάρης – Βούλας – Βουλιαγμένης, για το νέο έτος. 

Hephaestus was a Greek god. He is the son of Zeus and Hera, the King and Queen of the Gods – or else, according to some accounts, of Hera alone. He was the god of technology, blacksmiths, craftsmen, artisans, sculptors, metals, metallurgy, fire and volcanoes.

Τη συνάντηση του Τμήματος τίμησε με τη παρουσία του, ο Υποδιοικητής της ΑΧΕΠΑ ΕΛΛΑΣ κ. Βασίλειος Πετκίδης, ο οποίος μίλησε στα μέλη, για θέματα που άπτονται της ιστορίας, της δομής και των δράσεων της Οργάνωσής μας. Ακολούθως έγινε από τον Υποδιοικητή, τον Πρόεδρο κ. Νικόλαο Μπάη, τον Αντιπρόεδρο κ. Παναγιώτη Καραμούτσο και το Γραμματέα κ. Κωνσταντίνο Βαρσάμη, η επίσημη υποδοχή και ορκωμοσία των νέων μελών του Τμήματος: κ.κ.Δημητρίου Ντιναπόγια και Εμμανουήλ Εμμανουήλ. 

Στη συνάντηση του Τμήματός μας παρέστη ως επισκέπτης και το μέλος της ΑΧΕΠΑ ΚΑΝΑΔΑ κ. Αντώνιος Ανακέφαλος, δημοσιογράφος ομογενειακών εφημερίδων και στέλεχος της εφημερίδος «ΓΝΩΜΗ – OPINION» του Καναδά. Πριν το πέρας της συνάντησης τα μέλη του Τμήματος έβγαλαν αναμνηστική φωτογραφία με τον Υποδιοικητή και τον επισκέπτη από το Βανκούβερ.
